  Park Moves Forward
  Press Released by Russell Michael
Russell Michael from California City Studios announced today that the theme park he and his partners are working to bring to the area, just took two steps forward this week, with a major endorsement from the Kern County Board of Trade and the decision to take an option on 102 acres at the west end of California City near the 14 freeway.
Russell said he is sure of his decision and is working diligently to bring others in on the project. Russell said he is working with a major investor who wants to build a "themed" Hotel, and another that wants to build a destination spa on the 102 acres. Russell said this is a major step for us, having these parties that are well invested in the entertainment and destination industries, joining us to make this a major destination in Kern County.
Russell further stated that he understands the complexities of such a project and feels confident that the city will do the right thing to help move this along. Russell said he is sure that the city officials understand the importance of such a project. We also know we made need special permits and such, to complete this, this is a different issue then the one we had with our studio.
I'm looking forward to a great project no matter what, we will move forward with this said Russell, we hope to sign the paper work this week on the acreage. The models are not yet finished but should be done soon said Russell.
